Second Fiddle

Whitney came home for the weekend and immediately Nike picked who his favorite still is...He was on the love seat with Lila until Whitney sat down...you can see the outcome!

Let The Move Begin

All of you that really know me, know that I am a neat freak to a certain degree.  But I mus confess Whitney's room is beginning to look like Whitney's room...and this is alright with me.  She is home for the weekend, and has begun the process of moving her"stuff" home for the Summer (with less than four weeks of classes left at NWMSU).

My Hopes Get Crushed...Again

Friday and Saturday showed signs of Spring, only to be crushed by a cold, windy, wet, Sunday with the next two days more of the same (according to our lustrous weather man). However, on Saturday I mowed the yard, then Nike was allowed to survey the premises to make his daily deposits (above). Old Man Winter just won't let go!

...And On, And On!

This is a photo of my deck at 2:45 pm...quite a few more dots of sleet now, aye!

My Daffodils trying to weather the storm...

And the Karaokes, croaking!

NOPE! Old Man Winter Is Stil lHanging On!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, much to my dismay...the little dots on my deck are sleet pellets and the temperature on my thermometer is 30F (@ 8:30 am)!  I guess it could be worse,  in the Warrensburg area they are calling for six plus inches of snow.  I am soooo ready for Old Man Winter to let go and allow Spring to come immediately if not sooner!
