God Already Knew

Tonight I was looking through a few old photos of our mission trip in 2005 and I discovered this photo I took at the time because it was the main walkway from The Valley to the city above.

At the time, the white two story building (above) in the background had no significance what-so-ever.
Today that insignificant building is strategically placed on the main walkway...It is the newest evangelical church in the city of Galati The Church of Grace (located in The Valley).

I also found this photo (2005) of Bogdon (red jacket) and Nancy (white blouse) speaking to a lady in The Valley very close to the walkway. Bogdon was, by name only a repenter...He truly had prayed a prayer, but there was no transformation by the Holy Spirit in his life.

This photo taken this Summer (2009) of my good friend Bogdon tells quite a different story. In the Spring of 2007, he had a life changing transformation, and now he lives for Jesus Christ, not himself. Bogdon (above) is the pastor of the church in The Valley (z6)...The Church of Grace. Isn't it awesome to know that God already knew...He has wonderful plans for my life and your life if we decide to be obedient and follow our Master Jesus Christ. Who knows what surprises will be in our future...God already knows!

Empty Nest

Megan's room.
Whitney's room.
.
Lila and I are so grateful that both of our girls are attending the same university Northwest in Maryville, MO. Today was moving day for both of them...Megan this morning and Whitney went back tonight (staying with sister tonight) to move into her room in the morning. I would say it will be a little bit quieter around our home, but not too much, there is still one child at home.

Lila's Happy Day

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM THE LAST CHILD LEFT AT HOME! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

50 & Holding

I definitely live out of the box...no birthday cake, pie...Banana Pecan and French silk from The Corner Cafe!

Three of the loudest people at my birthday dinner.

Yours truly, my mom and sister, Debbie.

One of my three birthday cakes taken to my school by Whit and Megs...the photo of the clown shoe...it is a long story!

One of favorite places to eat...Stroud's, located in KC. The best chicken I have ever eaten, served with potato fries, mashed potatoes, brown gravy green beans, and cinnamon rolls all served family style...yes Randy, this is where I am taking you.

Rainy Day And Sunday

Well, hasn't rained for a week, so we were due for a good rain and we got it...according to the news 1.4" since last night. What a nice morning...I love the sound of the rain falling and the rolling thunder. Did I mention the flashes of lighting are pretty cool too?

It Is Nice To Be Home

For about the first week since late June I have had the opportunity to be at home and get settled back into my routine. With school starting next week my routine will once again change, and I will be locked in for the next few months. I know Lila is glad to have me back, at least she say that to my face...but I know there will be moments that she will be ready to ship me off for an extended visit.
