2011 Romania Mission Trip

October 7-21, 2011
7
Our team consisted of three members (left to right) Landon McCoy. Lanny Wake, and Steve Howell.

This is the banner that greeted us when we arrived at our apartment.

First night in Galati in Troy and Karla's apartment.

Sunday we were able to watch our soccer team (blue) play in a driving rain storm...they won 2-0.

Troy kicked off the 3560 Experiment the day we arrived in Romania, October 8...He selected this day and month eight months earlier. Just coincidence...I don't think so. This "Experiment" is to share the gospel with 3,560 people over the next ten years.

A huge orthodox church recently constructed in the city of Bralia...The inside is still unfinished with gray concrete walls.

Steve had the opportunity to lead in worship during one of the Sunday services at Metanoia.

Costel (green jacket) sharing the gospel in the streets of Bralia.

Steve was able to renew his friendship with Marius while we were in Galati.

A Short Stop Over

This was a very welcome sight in our home...The girl's shoes in the washroom.

Nike was elated to see the girls and wouldn't leave their side until they left home for NWMSU.

What can I say...Priceless!
