Children's Weekend At Grand Oak's Baptist Assembly

The chapel at Grand Oak's Baptist Assembly...Yes we had a thunderstorm as the evening approached.

I was invited to be the camp missionary for the children's weekend. What a blessing God has allowed me to have in serving Him in this capacity.

My friend from years ago, Paul Patterson...He has been serving as the camp pastor the past few days.

Leadership In Practice

Since I was state side this year, I was able to be a counselor at LIP held at Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, MO this past week. LIP is a camp 21/2 day camp that brings about 140 of the brightest, upcoming sophomores across the state of Missouri in for training sessions designed to develop their leadership abilities. Above is a photo of the group I hosted as a counselor/table leader.

It's A Dog's Life

Nike loves to take his favorite spot when the temperatures allow us to open the front door. We have a family of rabbits that live in our landscaping next to the house and when he sees one, he doesn't quite know what to do about it.

Everybody Loves A Parade

This was the first 4th of July I have been state side since 2006. So I decided to publish my view of the parade from inside Landon's SUV as he pulled the float about our Bible School the week of the 12-16, July. Everybody loves a parade, but personally I enjoyed riding in the parade this year.
