The "Concrete Jungle"

Today we are in zone 9...affectionately dubbed by Troy as "the Concrete Jungle," and rightfully so. At times this zone can be overwhelming with all the confusion, noise, people, traffic, heat, and high rise buildings all around you. Of all the zones this is the one I am most familiar with having spent a month in it last year.

Justin sharing scriptures with two boys in zone 9.
.
We just returned from three hour s of evangelism in z9. The team had 14 encounters sharing Jesus with the people there. Casey and I met a couple of boys we played soccer with last year, so we told them to go get their friends and we would go play. They did what every kid would do when invited to do something they liked to do...we went to the school and and played in about 90 degree heat for an hour, then presented them with Share Jesus Without Fear while we cooled down in the shade.Tonight we go out with the youth group and several leaders to once again share Jesus with the residents of zone 9.

Dig, there was warm memories the day we were there. We found several kids that played soccer with us the previous year, it was hot htat afternoon, close to 100 degrees. No wonder I can't stay hydrated.
