Pictured above is one of my former students and athletes that played tennis for me at CHS. No, it is not the gentleman in the all white attire. Neither the two young ladies that play for the Cardinals at WJC in Liberty, MO...If you haven't figured it out yet, it is the older looking gentleman in the red shirt. Paul Worstell was my student when he was in elementary school and later played on the high school team at CHS. He is currently employed at William Jewell College in the Broadcasting Dept. and he is also the Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach. Last weekend, his top doubles team qualified for the ITA National Tournament in Mobil, AL (mid October) while competing in the ITA Regional Championship in Topeka, Ks. Paul has several players that I personally know and practice with on occasion. He is a fine Christian man and an outstanding example for his athletes to look up to. Needless to say, I am very proud of him and the accomplishments he and his team earn each year during the fall and spring season. Best of luck to you and your athletes when the compete in the ITA National...You are the best!
